Your Association of Chairs membership badge
A quick guide on how to display your AoC membership badge on your digital profiles.

As a valued member of the Association of Chairs, you are part of a community dedicated to high-quality governance and impactful leadership.
We have created a membership badge for you so that you can display your association with us across your digital platforms. By adding this to your email signature, website and LinkedIn profile, you can showcase your connection to a supportive community of peers and highlight that you are part of the Association of Chairs membership network.

How to add your membership badge
Gmail
- Log in to your Gmail account on a desktop browser.
- Click the Gear icon in the top-right and select See all settings.
- Scroll down until you reach the Signature section.
- Place your cursor exactly where you would like the membership badge to appear.
- Click the Insert Image icon and upload your membership badge.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
Tip: Send a test email to yourself to ensure the badge looks exactly as you’d like.
Outlook
- Open your Outlook application.
- Click on File and then Settings (top-left) or click on the Gear icon (top-right).
- Select Accounts from the settings menu, then click on Signature.
- Choose the signature you wish to edit, or select + New signature to create a fresh one.
- Open the downloaded membership badge image on your computer using any image viewer.
- Right-click the image and select Copy (or press
Ctrl+C). - Go to your Outlook Signature settings and paste the image by clicking into the signature edit box exactly where you want the badge, and press
Ctrl+V(orCmd+Von Mac). - Click Save.
Note: If you are using Outlook Classic (the traditional desktop version), you will need to go to File > Options > Mail > Signatures to access these settings.
The LinkedIn’s Featured section is a fantastic way to highlight your professional assets. It sits prominently on your profile, appearing directly below your “About” section and above your “Experience” section.
Step 1: Add the featured section
(If you already have a “Featured” section on your profile, you can skip this step.)
- Go to your LinkedIn profile.
- Click the Add profile section button located under your name and designation.
- Select the Recommended drop-down menu.
- Click Add Featured. This will now create the Featured section on your profile.
Step 2: Upload Your membership badge
- Locate the Featured section on your profile below your “About” section.
- Click the + (plus) icon in the top-right corner of that section.
- Select Add media and upload the membership badge image file.
- Enter a short title (e.g., “Association of Chairs Member”).
- Click Save.
Website
You can also add the membership badge to your personal or organisational website, blog, or professional portfolio.
How to add it?
Simply download the membership badge, upload it as media to your website’s backend, and insert it into your desired page.
Recommended placement
Since every website is structured differently, we recommend placing the badge where your audience is most likely to look. Ideal spots include:
- About pages: To highlight your personal professional credentials.
- Governance, partnership or affiliation sections: To signal your organisation’s or board’s commitment to effective leadership alongside other professional affiliations.
